Scoop Stretchers

Scoop stretchers are designed to safely lift and transfer patients with suspected spinal or pelvic injuries without unnecessary movement. They split into two parts, allowing rescuers to “scoop” the patient from the ground without rolling or lifting them fully. This minimizes twisting and reduces the risk of worsening injuries during handling. Once closed, the stretcher securely supports the patient and can be carried or placed onto another transport device. It is lightweight and compact, making it ideal for quick, safe patient movement in pre-hospital emergencies.
